Tablets being used for educational purposes are a big deal in India, it seems. First, the government has decided to supply Aakash tablets to students. Now another company wants to join the party, in an attempt to make the educational process easier.

We’re talking about Lava which is about to deliver its M-Tab tablet to students across the country. For this purpose, the mobile device manufacturer has partnered up with iProf, a provider of digital education solutions, Light Reading reports.

Thus, Lava has bundled its slates with the Digital Library app, a software which allows students to have access to a whole host of educational materials like Class XI and Class XII courses from the Central Board of Secondary Education.

On top of that, students are provided with question lists for examinations in Medical and Engineering subjects, audiobooks and videos. The slate comes with 4GB of on-board internal storage, so there’s plenty of room to store up all the knowledge.
