Lava Rolls Out Software Update for XOLO A800

Indian handset maker Lava Mobile has just started the rollout of a maintenance update for its XOLO A800 smartphone. Unveiled back in December, XOLO A800 is powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, though it meets the minimum requirements for a Jelly Bean upgrade. However, it’s unclear if Lava will offer an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the XOLO A800 anytime soon, but we will keep an eye out for this one. Anyway, the guys over at AndroidOS report that the smartphone is now receiving a maintenance update, which includes some bug fixes and performance improvements that have yet to be detailed. The update is pushed OTA (over-the-air) in stages, and has around 165MB in size. Lava XOLO A800 owners might want to check for the update by going to XOLO Care / Update / Check for software update.

just got the update installed, but didn't see any difference, we wish to know the details of this update from the experts by the soonest,

I have updated it.. And it is now more smoother glitch free and battery take less time to charge go for the update but I use 3g as it's 165mb

hey i am using this phone and i do have some battery issues ...... how much does it take to full charge the phone ???

Hi,
I took XOLO A800 last month, yesterday i.e., 12-Mar-2013 i received a software update. I have accepted and installed the update. But after installing the new update my mobile is giving a trouble.
Whenever i open talk app(Gtalk) a ringtone is playing at the background and i failed to stop the play. I tried many ways and finally i rebooted the mobile. After reboot mobile was working fine, but again the ringtone is playing if i open talk app(Gtalk) and it will stop only if i reboot the mobile. Finally i have stopped using the talk app. The talk app is an inbuilt app from XOLO, so i dont suspect the app. The prob started after updating the software. I hope this is a rollup prob and it has to be fixed.

i have updated 4.1.1 after that mobile ring volume comming low

m facing tis problm to.. and also my music player is not woking.....its force stopping every time i open it.... plzz some suggestion
