Lava is a pretty popular mobile device brand in India and if you have been wondering whether or not to get one of their tablets, I can tell you this might be the perfect moment for you to take action.

The Lava E-Tab XTRON+ is currently being offered with a nifty 22% discount at Flipkart, so instead of picking it up for the usual Rs 7,770 / $123 / €91, the slate can be yours for Rs 5,999 / $95 / €71 a pop.

As a memory round-up, the E-Tab XTRON+ is a 7-inch tablet with a resolution of 1024 x 600, which draws power from a 1.5GHz dual-core A9 processor combined with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory (expandable to 32GB).

Those who plan to use the tablet for photography will be pleased to find two cameras onboard (2MP on the back and 0.3MP in front). As expected, the default operating here is Android 4.2.2, while the tablet is being kept alive by a decent 3700 mAh battery.

The Lava E-Tab XTRON+ doesn't offer anything jaw-dropping, but getting an Android tablet for less than $100 / €74 might be considered a plus for some customers.
