Version 1.6.8 comes with two important fixes supposed to repair some bugs reported in the previous build, including graphical glitches, according to the official release notes.
In addition, the new build is supposed to correct some errors in the config utility, so overall, Launcher for Skype should launch and work flawlessly thanks to this update.
Just as expected, it can be downloaded and installed on basically every version of Windows on the market, including the old XP and the recently released 8, be they 32- or 64-bit versions. The Metro version of Skype is not supported.
