Samsung has recently released its latest innovative SyncMaster 215 TW LCD monitor with a sharp display of 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1680x1050 maximum resolution, making this display a perfect option even for gaming and image or video editing, according to PC World.

Samsung's latest LCD screen can be connected directly to various external sources as camcorders, DVD players, VCRs and many others. This is why the manufacturer recommends it for both professional and entertainment activities. Unfortunately, the monitor doesn't include a USB port.

I know it doesn't look so classy like the latest LG screen, it doesn't have the famous Swarovski crystals all over, and that it comes in only one classic color- black, but believe me when I say that it has "ultimate multimedia capabilities" written all over.

This great LCD monitor delivers a maximum of 16.7 million colors, and, with a 21-inch (diagonal), it offers exclusively crystal clear images you will be able to see from every corner of the room you may choose.

The manufacturer developed its new monitor to be used in both digital and analog interface, as the Digital Video Interface (DVI) delivers a sharper image and a more precise representation of the original video source. Moreover, because of its Picture-In-Picture capability, 215TW permits viewers to watch two input sources at the same time.

And, as this year's technology trend regarding screens is to make them as mobile as you can, this one, even if it is big, it can be fully-adjusted, meaning that the viewer can easily rotate the monitor because of its circular base.

Not only the angle can be adjusted, but also the display's brightness and contrast using the buttons on the panel below the screen pre-configured in a variety of modes, such as Text, Internet, Game, Sports, Movie and a Custom Mode.

Samsung thought to ship its monitor along with special developed software which comes on two CDs. MagicTune is an innovative software instrument that enables the user to adjust the monitor (also color tuning) utilizing a Display Data Channel Command Interface (DDC/CI) protocol, as all the display's adjustments are managed through this software. The second software tool included is MagicRotation, a utility developed for editing purposes, meaning that the user can easily choose between landscape and portrait modes, and 0, 90, 180 and 270-degree orientations.
