Rogers Wireless has highest chances of carrying it

A leaked picture from Rogers Wireless announces the iPhone's Canadian release set for the 7th of December. You can never be sure with this ungrounded information concerning the iPhone's release on new markets, which makes it a rumor and nothing else.

Apple has kept quiet all this time on the date and terms that will bring the iPhone to Canada. Still, leaked information on future releases keep appearing. Most of them are quite predictable. If Apple indeed planned on releasing this device here, Roger Wireless is the operator most probably to carry it.

This time, the rumor of the iPhone's soon release in Canada should be more trustworthy as there is also a flyer attached. A skeptic approach would find such proof extremely easy to draw in a photo editing application by anyone with some free time on their hands.

According to the ad, the iPhone should hit Canadian stores on the 7th of December. Rogers Wireless will be selling it for the price of CD 500 (about USD 520), after a 3-year contract. Moreover, people will have the possibility of placing pre-orders starting with the 20th of November.

That's an extremely close date, which should have also triggered some other leaks if it were true. Apple never mentioned a Canadian release and the iPhone was set only for a European launch this year.

There might be some grains of truth in this entire matter, after all, if we consider the fact that most previous iPhone-related rumors eventually proved to be true. The device might just come from Rogers Wireless in the future, although it is very unlikely to happen this year.
