A brand new patch for Heroes of the Storm is currently being rolled out across the game's different territories, and according to the official changelog, it includes a wide array of nerfs to many different characters, as well as a few buffs to others in the game.

Heroes of the Storm received its closed beta version last month, and since then, Blizzard has pledged to bring forth all sorts of new mechanics to the popular multiplayer online battle arena experience, not to mention tweaks to the existing pool of heroes.

The latest patch went live yesterday in North America and is rolling out as we speak across Europe or Asia. According to the official website, it includes a variety of big elements, such as the new Lost Vikings hero.

However, what's really going to affect gameplay is the huge series of nerfs applied to many heroes, from Tychus to Raynor, Anub'arak, or Murky.

Abathur has received a small buff to his Evolve Monstrosity ultimate but the impact is minimal, to say the least. Meanwhile, Anub'arak, after already having gotten nerfs to his shield, has received another set of reductions in damage, survivability, and cooldowns.

Arthas has a wide series of changes, from buffs to Frozen Tempest or Death Coil, to nerfs for the Army of the Dead ultimate, which boasts a longer cooldown and doesn't heal all that much.

Brightwing, Chen, and Diablo have also been modified but their impact on the battlegrounds is still more or less the same.

By far one of the biggest nerfs affects Murky, as his Rejuvenation bubble now restores just 50% of his health, instead of 100%. His egg placement cooldown has been reduced but a change in Pufferfish talents has also affected his abilities.

Raynor's basic damage has been lowered while the Inspire ability no longer provides an attack damage bonus. His Hyperion ultimate now deals more damage as it already has the Yamato Cannon effect, while Raynor's Raiders can be controlled in a better way by pressing the R key.

Tychus' Commandeer Odin ultimate now shares the same health bar as the hero but can deal more damage and has a new Thrusters ability that allows for a quick escape in case things get tricky. If the Odin gets destroyed, Tychus dies as well.

Many other things have also been modified and Blizzard expects to continue making changes soon enough.
