Last Steam for Linux Beta Released by Valve

Valve has launched a new Beta version for its Steam for Linux client, featuring quite just a couple of small fixes.

When a development version garners sufficient changes, Valve promotes it to stable, and the work for the next beta starts almost immediately.

Highlights of the latest Steam for Linux Beta update:

• Some cases that may have been the cause of non-Steam game shortcuts disappearing have been corrected; • A regression where actions could be falsely blocked for parental controls has been fixed.

In order to get the latest update, users just have to start the application and make sure they’re enrolled in the Beta program. Also, this might be the last Beta release before the next stable one.
