It uses Omron switches and has seven buttons in total

Some mice are packed with more features and – most importantly – buttons than you know what to do with. Others, however, keep things a bit milder, while still offering the highest performance quality.

Rapoo's VPRO V900 Laser Gaming Mouse is like that. It features a top-quality 8,200 dpi laser sensor and Omron switches (for good click tactile feedback and sound), plus a complex lighting system that lets you choose one out of 16 million possible colors. And despite that, it has only seven buttons.

Clearly, Rapoo is, at least in this instance, following the school of thought that just because gaming mice can have loads of buttons doesn't mean they must have them. Especially if every other asset is maximized, quality-wise.

On that note, Rapoo made its V900 Laser Gaming Mouse a right-handed model, with Soft Grip material covering it and rubberized side grips.

The price of the Rapoo VPRO V900 Laser Gaming Mouse is €59.99, but sales will only begin next month, in September, and they will be restricted to Germany and just a few other European countries. When (and if) the device reaches US shores, the price could be of anything between $59.99 and $80. It depends on shipping taxes and how much exchange rates end up mattering.
