So far only owners of smaller slates have been able to enjoy the benefits of the service

Sky Go is a service that allows users to stream programs to a number of devices, other than the TV, so customers can enjoy the full perks of mobility. But so far, only 7-inch Android tablets have been getting this option, which was, naturally, a bit disappointing.

A wider screen device like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 or the Tab 2 10.1, the Google Nexus 10 or the Sony Xperia Z tablet are indeed more adequate to watch video content on. Well, the good news is that wider tablets are now expected to get the Sky Go treatment in November.

The news popped up on one of the Sky Go customer forums, where a user asked a question regarding the availability of the service for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. A company representative answered saying that “There is a tablet specific version of Sky Go currently in beta testing and due for full release in November, so it will probably be available at that time.”

The roll out will include all tablets with larger screens, running Android v4.0 or above.
