It is made out of large bones which resemble those of dinosaurs

A photographer has snapped a shot of what looks like dinosaur bones in the Arctic Ocean. The creepy sight is in fact part of a fin whale carcass and, as you can see, it is gigantic.

This image was uploaded to Flickr by user "buen viaje," who was able to capture the bones on tape during a trip from Iceland to Svalbard in 2010.

Svalbard is an archipelago that belongs to Norway and it is mostly populated by polar bears. According to the user, locals have spotted bears nibbling on the meat on the carcass for an entire year.

"Fin whale carcass the bears have been feeding on for the past year (sic). The next BBC documentary you see with polar bears will without question have footage from this spot!" he says.
