Lara Flynn Boyle, 35, returns to series television with a part in the NBC drama "Las Vegas".
The actress famous for her parts in the TV series "Twin Peeks" (1990), "The Hidden Room" (1991), and "The Practice" (1997), but also for ones of her many full-length movies like "Dead Poets Society" (1989), "Wayne's World" (1992), "Threesome" (1994) and "Men in Black 2" (2002), will join the cast of "Las Vegas" in the fall. She will play the part of the Montecito Casino's new owner.

"Obviously, we're excited to have someone with the style and panache of Lara Flynn Boyle as we head into a season of transition for 'Las Vegas" said Gary Scott Thompson, Las Vegas creator/executive producer, as quoted by Reuters.

In his opinion, Lara Flynn Boyle "will add even more story potential and star power to what is already a super-charged cast playing against the backdrop of a dynamic city" , as the TV series enters its third season, with James Caan as the head of the casino's surveillance team, and Josh Duhamel as his protégé.

The former wife of John Patrick Dee III, Boyle was involved with actors Kyle MacLachlan, Richard Dean Anderson and David Spade. The actress also had a 2-year-relationship with famous Hollywood star Jack Nicholson.
