Crystal Dynamics has unveiled the Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light premium apparel for Xbox 360 avatars that is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Xbox 360 owners can now outfit their virtual selves with many themed clothes and accessories from the game. Some of these items include Lara's iconic shorts or Totec's battledress. The prices range from 40 to 240 Microsoft Points.

A premium theme is also available for purchase for 240 points that features the main villain of the game, Xolotl, and his minions taking over the Lava Tomb. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be launching on the 18th of August in the Summer of Arcade promotion on XBLA for 1200 Microsoft Points, that is 15 dollars. The PlayStation 3 and PC version will also be launched after another four weeks because of an exclusivity contract with Microsoft.

The game is a cooperative affair that involves an isometric point of view with players taking control of Lara Croft and and an ancient Mayan warrior named Totec to battle the forces of evil and solve a few physics-based puzzles on the way. There will also be a single player mode for those who wish to experience the title's narrative on their own.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is the last of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade promotion. Until today Limbo and Hydro Thunder: Hurricane have released. This week will see the launch of Castlevania: Harmony of Despair on the 4th of August, while on the 11th August Xbox 360 owners will be able to purchase Monday Night Combat, an online multiplayer shooter. All of these games are priced at 1200 Microsoft points. Two special offers have been announced by Microsoft, a 400 Points refund for three or four purchases and an 1200 Points refund for those who have bought all five titles.
