Lara Croft, Master Chief and Super Mario Request Your Presence!

- The most sexy game character, the ugliest or the toughest – the choice is yours

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

I'm sure
most of us would be really glad to see, for real, let's say... Lara Croft. Just imagine how exciting would be for you to see five Lara Crofts, five Yunas, two BloodRaynes and so on. And not just that – basically, we're talking now about a meeting where you will meet everybody that counts or had something to say in the video game history. Everything thanks to a new Guinness World Record Gamers Edition challenge.

These guys will be attempting the Largest gathering of Games characters on the 18th of March, 10.30 to 11am at the Millenium Bridge in London. So... if you're not anywhere near during that date, you'd better start packing, buy the plane tickets and prepare for a great journey – it's not only that you will be one of the persons who holds a record, but you will also get to see (hopefully) the Lara Crofts I was talking about – and more.

The good thing is that every character is accepted – from King of All Cosmos (Katamari Damacy), Master Chief (Halo) Dante (Devil May Cry) or Gabe Logan (Syphon Filter) to anime/manga characters or WoW monsters – everything is accepted, as long as it appeared in a video game. Just don't try to bring your dog and say it came straight from Resident Evil – it won't work. Anyway, you will surely find out everything you want to know (including an e-mail address) if you pay a visit to the official Guinness World Records Gamers Edition website.

Together with the joy of setting a world record and enjoying all the other real game characters on the Millenium Bridge, you will also be featured on the GWRG Edition 2009, the official website and you will receive a gift for your efforts. So, is it worth it? Hell, yes! Hopefully they will allow cameras there – we'd really like to see how many Lara will be there. No, we have no "Croft obsession".
