Having once described herself as a “gangster Nancy Sinatra,” this 25-year-old singer and songwriter is the ideal combination of soulful voice, sass and sweetness.
A couple of days ago, she made an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show to perform her debut single “Video Games,” to promote her upcoming album “Born to Die.”
The video above shows she's not all about the looks and the visual trickery that is to be expected from pop stars: she's gorgeous, indeed, but she's also painfully talented.
Keep an eye out for Lana del Rey: she will be the musical guest on next episode of Saturday Night Live, next weekend.
