Lana Del Rey is well on her way to woo audiences with her third album, “Ultraviolence,” and she's just released the second single, after the track “West Coast.” This one is called “Shades of Cool” and it's typical Lana.

You'll recognize some of the sounds from her previous album, but only because the track was produced by Rick Nowels, the man also responsible for her hit single “Summertime Sadness,” as well as “Young and Beautiful,” which was featured on the soundtrack of Baz Luhrman's movie adaptation of “The Great Gatsby.”

Lana is making all sorts of news these days. She also got her name linked with the year's social affair, the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding. She bagged a cool $2.8 million (€2 million) for performing a set at the Palace of Versailles for the pre-wedding bash and then for another set at the Italian wedding.

She was also invited to play at Kim and Kanye's engagement party, but she declined the offer at the time, despite the fact that she was probably offered a hefty sum too. Kanye insisted on Lana performing since she's Kim's favorite singer.

Her third album, “Ultraviolence,” is going to hit shelves on June 13 and it's expected to perform well in the charts after the success of her second studio venture, “Born to Die.”
