Lampard - the Highest Paid Footballer on the Planet

Chelsea is not a big-spending club when it comes to getting footballers from other clubs, but they keep their policy moving when it comes to their own players. After the great form showed by two of the only remains of before-Abramovic era, the Russian billionaire is determined to make everything possible to reward them properly. And, if you're wondering what "properly" means, know this… After the World Championship in Germany ends this summer, Frank Lampard and John Terry will be the "highest paid" footballers on the planet.

Considering the fact that the two players are
entering their final years of contract, Murinho want them for good. After Michael Ballack considerably raised his salary after his move to Stanford Bridge - he will gain 20 million pounds in the next 3 years - Lampard and Terry will not be having the same pocket size the next season. Abramovici is set to pay them 140.000, respectively 130.000 pounds per week. And it's more than likely that they will not refuse the renewal of the contract, since they are two of the most respected players at Stanford Bridge.

The good news for Chelsea fans are not over yet. After managing one of the greatest post season transfers - Michael Ballack - and taking care of Lampard and Terry for the future, "Chalski" is on the verge of another success. The new target for Abramovici is Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Being in a very critical conflict with coach Ferguson, the only thing that fans don't know yet is not whether he'll stay or leave Old Trafford, but where exactly is he going to be transferred. Already in talks with Tottenham and Newcastle, the striker will more likely pick Chelsea, since Abramovici allegedly promised him a great deal of money.

In case these allegations will turn into certainties, Jose Murinho will find himself in the situation to leave a lot of great players on the bench. If Shevchenko comes too, it will be merely impossible for the Portuguese to make up his mind between Sheva, Ballack, Van Nistelrooy and Drogba. And, unless he's going to change his playing formula, I don't see a lot of chances all of them playing for the Premiership champs.
