As some of you might know, Polaroid (or at least the company who's purchased the rights to use the brand name) has entered a collaboration with Lady Gaga, following which they've just unveiled at CES 2011 the Polaroid Grey Label line, that will include, for starters, three new products, namely the GL10 Instant Mobile Printer, the GL30 Instant Digital Camera and the GL20 Camera Glasses.

The GL10 Instant Mobile Printer isn't exactly a huge novelty, since we're talking about a mobile photo printing solution using the embedded dye-crystal ZINK Zero Ink Technology from ZINK Imaging, that produces good-looking prints by heating very small dye crystals found right in the paper.

As mentioned before, this is a concept Polaroid has toyed with for a couple of years now, and the same goes for the second Grey Label product unveiled by the company, namely the GL30 Instant Digital Camera, that combines digital photography with the ZINK Zero Ink Technology from ZINK Imaging.

What differentiates the GL30 from the other instant digital cameras from Polaroid is the fact that it's external design has been revamped in order to match that of the classical Polaroid cameras.

The most interesting, truly new and original product from the Grey Label line is represented by the GL20 Camera Glasses, a fashion accessory that will allow users to instantly capture or upload photos with the built-in camera and then display the images on the glasses' LCD screens for others to see.

"I consider myself to be a visionary, not just a songwriter and a singer. I am an artist," said Lady Gaga, Polaroid's Creative Director, adding that "I brought my vision and love of fashion, technology and obsession with the future into all of my work with Polaroid."

The GL10 Instant Mobile Printer will be available in May 2011 and will sell for around US $149.99, but, unfortunately, the coolest items in the Grey Label series will have to wait a bit longer, since both the GL30 Instant Digital Camera and the GL20 Camera Glasses will arrive in stores later in 2011, pricing details being kept secret for the time being.
