14 DAY TRIAL // You might not think “wife material” when you think Lady Gaga but she’s getting ready to walk down the aisle as we speak – more or less. Her friend DJ Lady Starlight has confirmed that she’s set to tie the knot this summer.
Gaga has been dating handsome actor Taylor Kinney since late 2011 and, according to Starlight, she’s convinced that he’s “the one” for her.
The moment their schedules clear, they will be getting married, Starlight tells The Sun in a new interview.
“She’s told me he’s the one and you know that instantly when you see them together. They were made for each other. At first I thought he was too hot to be cool but now I think he’s totally awesome,” she says.
Those thinking that Starlight is revealing something she should not talk about to the press, she insists this is common knowledge around all of Gaga’s friends, so she’s doing nothing wrong.
“From all I’ve heard, I don’t think I’m dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year,” she says.
She doesn’t offer more details about the wedding, but she’s positive Mother Monster herself will be talking about that soon, whenever she’s ready. Knowing her, she’ll probably want to share the happy news with her loyal fans.
“There’s a summer period when his shooting schedule will be clear and her concert and studio commitments will be minimal, so expect an announcement some time soon. She spends so much time in Chicago, because that’s where Taylor needs to be. So when she has time to be wherever she wants to be, she’ll be with him,” the friend explains.
Right now, Gaga has more pressing concerns than planning a wedding. In mid-February, she canceled her entire tour to undergo hip surgery, after doctors found a labral tear most likely caused by strenuous live performing.
