The man's name is Scooter Braun and, apart from the fact that he's plagued us with Justin Bieber (although Usher takes some of the blame on that for having discovered him), he happens to be one of the most sought after managers in the music industry.

After seeing her massive musical career take a stumble with the disappointing performance of the “Artpop” album, Lady Gaga is now trying very hard to get back on the horse, and, in her opinion, Scooter is just the man to give her that extra edge.

The fact that her latest single “G.U.Y.” didn't even crack the American Top 40 told Gaga that she needed to make some moves and fast. Although she dished out several millions to shoot an intricate video for the said song, it underperformed and Gaga was used to being number one in the charts up until “ArtPop” came out.

A source from the musical industry revealed to the Sun that “If anyone can help Gaga now it's Scooter. He's one of the smartest blokes in the music industry and made Bieber into the biggest pop star on the planet. There are a few options for her but Scooter is one of them.”

As you may know, Lady Gaga and her previous manager Troy Carter parted ways last year due to “creative differences” and she went with Bobby Campbell, the man who used to work on her original team. But from the looks of things, he's not performing as expected.

Gaga might be on to something there. After all, if Scooter can keep Justin Bieber afloat with all the crazy stunts he keeps pulling on a daily basis, reviving Gaga's career is going to be a walk in the park.

The same source from the industry pointed out that “Gaga's next album will be make or break,” meaning that, if she doesn't pull it together for this one, no crazy outfit or vomit performance is going to save her from dropping like a wrecking ball (no pun intended) out of the charts and out of pop culture.

Meanwhile, her direct opponent Katy Perry is doing very well with her Prismatic World Tour, while Gaga's ArtRave: The ArtPop Ball isn't faring as brilliantly. It's still a success, considering her previous numbers but Perry has pretty much got her licked.

Bad news just keeps coming for Gaga, who has been left unable to perform this week after coming down with a severe case of bronchitis. She wrote on Twitter to explain using a reference from “The Little Mermaid,” “I'm devastated I'm unable to perform this week. Ursula took my mermaid voice. I've come down with horrible Bronchitis.”
