After showcasing the controversial meat dress at the VMAs 2010 and almost literally cleaning the awards, Gaga took flight in yet another one of her outlandish outfits – which showed off a brand new tattoo.

It’s a well known fact that comfort means nothing for the singer or, at least, not when she puts it in balance with the shock factor.

As such, it’s no wonder Gaga hit JFK Airport in nothing but stockings, a belt, Alexander McQueen “hoof” shoes, a bra and a leather jacket.

The ensemble, while not really that shocking since we’re talking about Gaga here, also allowed her to showcase her brand new tattoo – a unicorn on her thigh, as E! Online notes.

Only the head of the magical creature is pictured, while the message “Born This Way,” the name of her upcoming album, can be seen above the horn.

“It looks like Lady Gaga is completely committed to the title of her next album,” E! comments.

“Just hours after gracing the VMA stage with her questionable couture and announcing to the world that her upcoming release will be called Born This Way, the singer was spotted at New York’s JFK Airport on Monday sporting a tattoo of a unicorn on her left thigh with the words, yep, ‘Born This Way’ wrapped around the mythological creature,” the e-zine further notes.

Chances of the tattoo being a temporary one are rather slim, word in the blogosphere has it, since Gaga is known for her love of body art – as she also is for her dedication when it comes to her music.

Therefore, it’s likely she got the ink done to celebrate the unveiling of the name of her upcoming album and to remind people to treasure their (and her) specialness.

Speaking of being special, Gaga told Ellen DeGeneres the other day that this was what her raw meat dress was all about – though not many managed to follow her logic.

“Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the Earth,” Gaga said, as we also informed you.

“However, it has many interpretations, but for me this evening if we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights, pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones,” she added.
