It's kind of a weird thing that singer Lady Gaga is trying to hide her exact finances from the public because it begs the question of exactly what is so secret about them. In doing this, she only managed to spur the interest of media and public alike.

Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is at the moment trying to put a gag (pun intended) on a set of legal documents that contain sensitive financial information regarding her settlement with former producer, Rob Fusari.

At the time, her producer filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit, claiming that he was denied the 20% due to him from song royalties from hits such as “Paparazzi,” “Beautiful,” “Dirty” and “Rich,” which he co-wrote.

After the lawsuit was settled out of court, the documents were sealed, but now Fusari is faced with his own lawsuit. He is being accused of Wendy Starland that she helped in the discovery of Lady Gaga and wants her commission.

Fearing that this new lawsuit will reveals sensitive material from the previous trial, Lady Gaga filed a motion to have a portion of the proceedings sealed by the court. In her motion, Gaga argues that the documents contain confidential financial information that could harm her career if made public.

A judge has not yet responded to this petition which could very well be denied and then the entire world will get a look at the figures, as they are sure to leak to the media, especially now that she tried to put a gag on it.

Right now, everybody is wondering just how much Gaga and Fusari settled for, that the figures could be so damaging to her career. There certainly must be some artists out there that have amassed larger fortunes than Gaga who aren't trying to hide them from fans.
