Whatever Lady Gaga does, at least a few million people will take offense with it. The same goes for her brand new song “Princess Die,” which she premiered in concert the other day.

You can also check it out above, in case you don't know it yet but, to sum up, it's a suicide ballad.

As we speak, people are debating online on whether the track is offensive / controversial or not.

Some believe the song is actually about Princess Diana, with whom Gaga is reportedly obsessed. Others say that it doesn't befit a role model to put out songs about having suicidal thoughts and, even worse, carrying them out.

In her defense (we actually love the song and are dying for a better version to come out), Gaga did tell her fans that “Princess Die” was inspired by her darkest moments, putting into music her “deep and personal thoughts I've ever had.”

Listen to the track and let us know what you think of it: is it just another Gaga song in which he wears her heart on her sleeve, or unbefitting of a role model to sing of suicide?
