Singer reveals what people want to see of her

Lady Gaga shocks, that much is known by now of the singer who has taken international charts by storm and whose staying power doesn’t seem to be abating with the passing of time. Whether it’s with her music, videos, fashion or statements, Gaga is bound to always make a powerful impression and her latest interview with Maxim magazine is certainly no exception, as Fox News can confirm.

The singer is gracing the most recent issue of the magazine in very typical Gaga-esque shots that combine bold colors with daring outfits and the kind of attitude that has not been seen since the early days of Madonna, as critics put it. At the same time with the shoot, Lady Gaga also agreed to do an interview with the mag and, if you ask her, it’s not for her music that she’s so sought after and famous, as she is because people want her to expose herself in public.

Maxim initially wanted to do the interview at Gaga’s house, but she later changed her mind and switched locations. When asked why she did so, the singer revealed her house was too personal to have the media inside it. One thing led to another and, within seconds, she was speaking of the public’s fascination with her which, as per her own words, amounts to little else than a voyeuristic desire to see her private parts. Luckily, this will not happen too soon, perhaps because Gaga aims to have the public focused on her music than on her body.

“My concerts are about me being very private in public, but I’m very protective. My apartment is my stage, and my bedroom is my stage – they’re just not stages you’re allowed to see. When you let a bunch of people in there, they [mess] with that energy and it becomes a circus. Put it another way: Everybody wants me to show my [privates] to the world all the time. And the truth is, I don’t have to.” the always-blunt, always foul-mouthed singer reveals for the mag.

As expected, this statement has not failed to cause massive waves, especially on the Internet, on celebrity websites. Some of the fans agree that the paparazzi at least are virtually dying with anxiety to see Gaga commit the biggest faux-pass in celebrity world, and let them snap the million-dollar pic. Most of them, though, admit that their fascination with her has more to do with who she is as an artist and performer, and her music rather than her body or the amount of flesh she exposes.
