Lady Gaga Has Joined Google+, to Give Britney Spears Some Competition

Google+ may not be the hottest social network, yet, but it's gaining enough traction to get the attention of several celebrities. Google+ is already the home to the likes of Snoop Dogg or Britney Spears - she's in fact the most followed person on the site, but Lady Gaga has now set up shop on Google+ as well.

The queen of Twitter, where she has over 18 million followers, has created her very own Google+ profile. Already, more than 18,000 people have added her to their circles. That's 1,000 times less than on Twitter, but it's only been a couple of days.

Her profile is likely to gain a lot more followers in a short amount of time, but it remains to be seen whether she can get close to the Google+ establishment. Britney has almost 1.5 million followers at this point. A month ago, she only had 1 million.
