Armed and dangerous: Lady GaGa accidentally knocks out dancer’s teeth with a mic

Lady GaGa can put on quite a show, it has often been said but, undoubtedly, no one knows that better than one of her female backup dancers. During a performance for the Party 105 radio station in New York, the singer got so ahead with herself with the dance moves that she accidentally hit a dancer and busted three of her teeth, The Sun reports.

Apparently, Lady GaGa was spinning the mic in her hand, holding it solely from the chord and, either she moved backwards, or the dancer got too close, that the two made contact. She hit the female dancer so hard, the report says, that she lost three of her teeth on the spot, which caused severe bleeding and cries of pains.

It all ended on a positive note, though, with the apologetic GaGa saying she would pay for the dancer to have her teeth capped, the same report says. Moreover, the injured dancer is said to be recuperating well and, hopefully, will not be holding a grudge against the “Just Dance” singer for getting too over-excited on stage, a thing she is known to do whenever she is performing live.

As of now, a publicist for Lady GaGa has declined to comment on the situation. Nevertheless, if true, this would not be the first time that the singer makes the headlines for other things than her music. Just recently, the star was stopped by policemen for her weird fashion sense, which, as fans must know, implies she’s rarely wearing any pants. Admittedly, as per the singer’s own words, the officers would not see reason – namely, that she was a fashion icon and was dressed accordingly, GaGa said of the incident with her unmistakable sense of humor.

“I guess they weren’t really pants at all. But it was really funny because all you saw was this girl on the street yelling at some cop, ‘It’s fashion! I’m an artist!’ It was fun.” the singer explained at the time, adding that she completely understood the policemen for stopping her lest she offended other people on the street with her outfit.
