Only recently, a new all electric vehicle stepped under the spotlights.

Known as El Lada, this Russian vehicle can be driven at the top speed of 80 miles per hour (128.7 kilometers per hour), and cover a distance of up to 100 miles (roughly 160 kilometers) on one single charge.

As sources inform us, this Russian EV is to first be tested by taxis in the city of Stavropol, mostly because it is designed to help urban areas across this country cut down on air pollution.

Just for the record, the company that came up with EV is 50% owned by Renault-Nissan.

Should you wish to gaze upon this EV, you can do so by watching the video below. Fair warning though: all accompanying information is in Russian.
