Man protests against Miliband’s disregard for the homeless in quite unoriginal manner

Promises are made and then broken by politicians but, somehow, it has become such a fact of life that it doesn’t even register as it should. For one man, who identifies himself as Dean Porter, it’s gotten to a point where he can’t stand it – and, consequently, a couple of eggs must be tossed at someone.

As Labour leader Ed Miliband was out campaigning in East Street market in Walworth, south London, Porter reportedly followed him, his security and the cameras crews around for a while until he saw an opening and started pelting the politician with eggs.

He was, of course, apprehended by security after two of the projectiles hit their mark (Miliband’s head) and escorted away.

Later, as you will see second video below, he tried to explain to the media that this was his way of letting politicians know they’re part of the problem. He was particularly upset that Miliband did nothing on the issue of homelessness in the country.

The politician, on the other hand, laughed off the incident on Twitter.

“Thanks to all at East St Market for the warm welcome today. Can recommend it for easy availability of eggs,” he wrote.

By now, he must be getting used to this type of thing.
