The next step in Line Tower Wars

LTW is short for Line Tower Wars, a map that we all loved and played. This tower defense map was created on the Cityscape tileset with a size of 128x128. It's able to handle three to 11 players. The concept of the map is rather old to Warcraft III and in order to play, you need the Frozen Throne expansion pack and a couple of friends, of course.

Line Tower Wars is a Tower Defense, so its objective is twofold, summoning creeps to steal lives from the other player(s) to your right by getting to the end of their maze. You must do this while building towers and creating your own maze to defend yourself from creeps being spawned by the player(s) from your left.

At the beginning, you will have a starting income of 25 gold. Every 15 seconds of the game time, your income is added to your total gold. Of course, the income can be increased by training units. The income or the income time delay can be changed if you use some of the commands.

The host, that being the red player, can choose the following commands, which sometimes heavily influence the gameplay: - noattacker [-ns] - noair [-na] - gold x - life x - alltechs [-at] - fastmode [-fm] - streamincome [-si] - hardgame [-hg] - nolimits [-nl] - randomspawn [-rs] - randomtech [-rt] - terrainsnow [-ts].

In the centerline of the map, there are three buildings: the Shrine, the Shrine 2 and the Super Shrine, which can be used to summon creeps against the nearest player to your right. The units you can summon have a variety of abilities and most of them will increase your overall income: armor aura, speed aura, evasion, magic immunity, damage aura, flying unit, attacking unit and invisible unit.

Besides the usual Archer tower and Sharp tower, you can also build Elemental towers that can be upgraded to be very powerful. You can choose your element out of the four wisps that will be given to you at the start of the game. There are five elements: Unholy, Light, Electricity, Fire and Ice.

Every player has a default of 30 lives. In order to win, a player must steal all the lives from the other players. When you run out of lives, all your towers will be destroyed.
