Today, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced that UK’s wireless carrier EE would be the strategic partner in the country for the launch of the HTC One SV.

The new handset will arrive on shelves in the country with support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network, while also delivering a nice range of other features.

The smartphone was launched with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on board, and with HTC’s Sense UI loaded on top of it.

According to HTC, the device will provide users with appealing camera capabilities, great sound, and the possibility to easily keep their lives organized.

“The HTC One SV heralds the next generation of smartphone performance and lightning fast mobile internet,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation.

“We're delighted to help fuel the spread of 4G LTE networks worldwide with models that enable our customers to enjoy web browsing, movie streaming and Internet radio more quickly and more smoothly than ever before.”

The specs list of this phone includes a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot to expand it.

The phone also sports a 4.3-inch super LCD-2 touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 (480 x 800 resolution), built-in Beats Audio, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, LED flash, and full HD video recording capabilities.

“The HTC One SV offers the amazing camera synonymous with the acclaimed One series. Advanced functions, including one-press Continuous Shooting and VideoPic combined with advanced low-light performance for beautiful shots in challenging lighting conditions,” HTC notes.

“The HTC One SV's 5 megapixel, f/2.0 Back Side Illuminated main camera with Panorama and 1080p HD Video Recording is complemented perfectly by a 1.6 megapixel front facing camera, which also features backside illumination, and an f/2.2 lens.”

The phone will be launched in two color flavors, namely Pyrenees blue and Glacier white, and will arrive on shelves in the coming weeks through said wireless carrier, as well as via retail and distribution partners in the UK.
