Samsung and Sprint have just released the 4G LTE version of Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The tablet is now available for purchase for $550/€430 outright, though it requires activation with a Sprint data plan.Aside from 4G LTE speeds, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 offers voice calling support, allowing users to make phone calls. The slate ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform onboard, but Samsung promised a Jelly Bean update would be available in the following weeks.
As the name suggests, the tablet sports a large 10.1-inch PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen display that supports 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor, along with a PowerVR SGX540 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It features only 8GB of ROM, which can be further expanded via microSD memory card up to 64GB.
