Lightweight Portable Security (LPS), a thin Linux operating system that creates a secure end node from trusted media on almost any Intel-based computer (PC or Mac), is now at version 1.3.4.

As usual, LPS-Public comes with many updated packages and improvements, among which we can mention:

• Mozilla Firefox updated to version 10.0.4 ESR; • Firefox Extension HTTPS Everywhere 2.0.3 has been added; • Firefox Extension NoScript 2.3.9 has been added; • Mozilla Thunderbird has been updated to version 10.0.4 ESR (Deluxe only); • Adobe Flash has been downgraded to 11.1.102.63, due to incompatibilities in new Adobe libraries. Flash will be updated with our next kernel update release (LPS 1.4); • Encryption Wizard application was updated to version 3.3.3; • OpenSSL was updated to version 0.9.8w; • OpenSSH was updated to version 6.0p1; • Java was updated to version 1.6u32; • The Citrix client has been updated to version 12.1.0.203066; • SameTime support was fixed in Pidgin; • MultiPing 0.1.2 was added under the Connectivity menu; • Toggled Firefox security setting security.ssl.allow_unrestricted_renego_everywhere_temporarily_available_pref.
