One of the most popular instant messenger services, LINE, has just received an important update on the Windows Phone platform. The newest version is expected to offer a more streamlined user experience, better security, and lots of other overall enhancements.

The most important new feature included in this update seems to be the fact that users will now be able to send multiple images as well as preview them. But that is not all. With the latest version of LINE for Windows Phone, users will be able to forward and delete messages.

According to developers, the access speed to the main screen has been improved. LINE has also confirmed that it has added partial support for receipt of messages from official accounts.

Lots of other improvements to the navigation UI on the Main Page have been made as well. Obviously, some under the hood bug fixes and performance improvements are also included in the update.

Those who already have the application installed on their devices should check for the update, while new players can now download LINE for Windows Phone 3.6.0 for free via Windows Phone Store.

Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up. However, free calls are only available on devices running Windows Phone 8 and up.
