LINE for Windows 8.1 received a new update today, so all those using this particular chat client should get the new version as soon as possible.

According to the official release notes published in the Windows Store, the new LINE version comes with bug fixes and feature improvements, so expect a slightly enhanced performance after deploying the update.

At the same time, this is just a minor release that’s focused on fixing bugs and bringing performance improvements to Windows 8.1 users, regardless of the platform they rely on, including desktops and tablets.

The feature lineup remains basically unchanged, which means that you still get a touch-optimized interface to chat with your friends from the modern UI, snap view mode support and stickers for an interactive conversation.

“LINE is a new communication messenger which allows you to send FREE Emoji messages whenever and wherever you are, 24 hours a day!” the new app description published in the store states.

Overall, this is quite a necessary update for all users who previously installed the app, so download LINE for Windows 8.1 right now to see what’s new. If you’re running the default Windows 8.1 configuration, the update is automatically shipped to your computer.
