LINE Messenger is enjoying a terrific success on Windows 8, as it has already recorded thousands of updates, so NAVER, the company behind this project, is trying to keep interest high with new updates released on a regular basis.

A new version of the app is now showing up in the Store on all Windows 8 platforms, but the displayed release notes do not provide too many details regarding the changes packed in the update.

LINE Messenger has most likely received several bug fixes supposed to make the app run more smoothly on Windows 8 devices, especially because it’s also designed to run on Windows RT tablets.

The program features a touch-optimized GUI to appeal to Windows RT users, so it basically provides support for every single Windows 8 flavor out there.
