LG is struggling in the tablet and the smartphone market. The company is fighting to keep its less than 2% share of the market against giants like Apple and Samsung, that own almost 98% of the pie.

Back in 2011 when it was launched, the LG Optimus Pad got some good reviews, but the price was immeasurably high.

Now, LG's Optimus Tab has reportedly received a considerable price cut just recently.

Powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core mobile processor and backed by 1 GB of system RAM memory, the Optimus Pad was selling at more than €800.

The 8.9” tablet boosted a 1280 x 768 pixel resolution and an IPS display, along with a rather generous 32 GB of flash storage.

Considering that it comes with 3G and GPS, the new listing price of just €287 makes it a much more tempting buy.

That’s around $360 for the US customers, but the tablet doesn’t seem to be in stock yet.
