LG’s Facebook page is now full of BlackBerry positive comments

BlackBerry has been moving on thin ice for quite some time now and lots of companies are trying to have their shot at the Canadian company.

Such an attempt was recently made by South Korean handset maker LG. As Crackberry reports, the company took it to Facebook to try and mock BlackBerry by inviting visitors to “write a eulogy” for their BlackBerry on LG’s new G2.

Unfortunately, what LG thought it would be funny turned out to be an amazing BlackBerry ad, as most people that posted comments on LG’s Facebook page were absolutely positive on their BlackBerry smartphones.

“If I had to go with an Android device, I would rather have Android on a Blackberry than on an LG device. Most LG phones feel very cheaply made. Blackberry hardware feels better and texting is more enjoyable,” says Israel Leiva.

And here is another one from Ben Henning: “A euology would take forever to write using a virtual keyboard. Thanks, but I'll stick with my 9900.”

Plenty of negative comments toward LG were posted as well: “LG. This is just sad. You guys have sunk to the maturity level of Nokia. I already dislike LG products in general, this just seals my opinion. BlackBerry 10 forever,” says Jerry Li.

“Give me one benefit that LG had over BlackBerry. At least BlackBerry phones have many unique advantages that no other company can claim. LG is just a Samsung copycat,” added Cyrus Gorjipour.

Seeing how LG’s low-blow tactic backfired, one may wonder how come BlackBerry lost so much market share with so many loyal fans.

Most likely, the fact that most business customers decided to switch platform hurt BlackBerry more than the number of consumers disappointed by BlackBerry 10 and the devices launched until now.

The good news for BlackBerry is that at least one major handset maker has fewer loyal fans than the Canadian company, and that’s LG.
