LG Electronics will launch the X-WAVE audio technology which ensures a special sound quality to the 21 and 29 inch widescreen TV sets. This technology is the first of its kind in the world. The X-WAVE chip provides users with an audio signal that can be transmitted to any FM compatible digital device such as home theatres or radios.

In other words, using such a
chip, the TV set can be connected without a cable to any digital device.

The wireless technology developed by LG Electronics provides a sound quality comparable to that of Home Theatres without investing in such a system. Moreover, users can easily surpass the 15 W limit imposed by a standard flat screen TV by connecting X-WAVE to existing audio systems.

Those who already have a Home Theatre system will also have the benefit of the dynamic TV effects offered by the X-WAVE technology. Gamers will enjoy the more complex and realistic game experience provided by this technology.

Optionally, X-WAVE TV sets can be added a remote control which can be connected to a headset. In this way, users can enjoy a richer sound without bothering anyone.

21 and 29 inch flat screen TV sets having the X-wave chip will be distributed in Asia in March and in Central and South America in April.
