Samsung, HP and Acer are all companies which released Chromebook laptop devices on the market. Now, it appears LG is looking to jump aboard the Chrome bandwagon as well.

TMWatch stumbled upon a bunch of Australian LG trademark filings that feature the word Chrome. The filings date back to October 16 and include a range of devices dubbed as “ChromeOne,” “ChromeDesk” and “ChromeStation.”

The three devices are included into the “Laptop computers, Computers, Convertible computers, Tablet computers” category.

It was about time LG started moving things in this direction. Back in January 2012, the Korean giant and Microsoft struck a deal allowing LG to use operating system patents for Android and Chrome devices.

LG and Google are already working together in the Nexus department. For the second time, Google is believed to have chosen LG to produce its new Nexus phone. Some Chrome devices might be the next logical step.
