Starting today, users in the United States can enjoy the capabilities of yet another affordable LG smartphone on the networks of Sprint’s pre-paid services Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, namely the LG Volt (the US carrier version of the LG F90).

The mobile phone is now listed on the website of both Sprint subsidiaries, with a price tag of only $179.99 (€131) attached to it, with no contract agreement required.

The best part about grabbing the new LG Volt is the fact that it arrives on shelves with support for Sprint’s 4G LTE network, which means that those who will purchase it will enjoy great connectivity capabilities with it.

Moreover, the smartphone arrives on the market with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor packed inside, as well as with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. A microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes was also included in the handset.

On the back, the handset sports an 8-megapixel camera capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, which is complemented by a 1.3MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The LG Volt also sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in GPS receiver, and the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top right from the start. The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
