Six months after its launch at Sprint, LG Viper 4G LTE is finally getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade. The update is currently pushed OTA (over the air), in stages.

This means that not all LG Viper 4G LTE owners will receive it simultaneously. According to Sprint, the following changes have been included in this update:

- Number of users displayed on Hotspot; - Upgrade of the Google OS to Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0); - Improved Lock Screen; - Home screen folders; - Improved Android Browser; - Improved Camera Experience; - Face Unlock; - Resizable widgets.

Software version LS840ZVI can be manually installed if/when available, so LG Viper 4G LTE owners might want to check for it by going to Settings / About phone / System updates.
