Wireless carrier 3UK has yet another appealing touchscreen device available for its users, the LG Viewty GT. The new addition to LG's Viewty family comes with a slender form factor and builds on the features of the original handset. Moreover, the new device is capable of delivering a great experience to users, via integrated social networking capabilities and an affordable price tag.

“The LG Viewty GT has a 3.0” touchscreen that comes with a stylus pen – so it’s perfect for email and instant messages, using apps, and browsing the internet on your phone. You can choose from two customisable home screens – one has widgets and links for things like weather updates and email, and the other home screen gives you quick, one-click access to all your contacts,” the carrier states.

The specifications list of the new LG Viewty GT includes a 5.0-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus and video recording capabilities, complemented by the inclusion of a Photo Editor software with the device, up to 60MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 8GB of additional storage space, and video and audio players for entertainment.

A WAP browser is included in the package, along with support for 3G connectivity and Bluetooth capabilities, not to mention that the phone comes with a wide range of applications pre-loaded. Among them, users will find Google Mail, Google Maps, Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, a Facebook widget, and others more.

The LG Viewty GT measures 107 x 54.5 x 11.8 mm and weighs in at 98 g. Its battery can offer up to 210 minutes of talk time, or up to 260 hours of standby time. With free Skype-to-Skype calls, Windows Live Messenger and Facebook widget, the device can easily prove a nice option for accessing social networking sites. The handset can be seen on 3UK's website here, available on plans starting at £15 per month.
