It would really seem that, these days, LG's going mostly for those people who appreciate both style and high-end features in their HDTVs. After they've announced the very elegant Scarlet a while back, the Korean company is now back with two PDPs (plasma displays), the PG3000 and PG200R models, which have a very slender, sleek and elegant design (just 3.3 inches - 84 mm wide, 42 inches in diagonal) that will most likely impress even the most demanding users.

Aside from their exquisite external design, the new PDPs from LG also offer some pretty good technical specs. For example, the PG3000 and PG200R incorporate Flicker Free 150 Hz TruMotion technology (for enhanced image quality) and provide a very fast response time, of just 0.001 ms. Additionally, they feature a very impressive dynamic contrast ratio (20,000:1) as well as some really deep blacks.

Moreover, much like most of the other products from LG, the displays support several viewing modes (Cinema, Games, Sports, etc.), which allow the user to enjoy the best possible image quality depending on the type of programming he/she is watching.

Some special attention should be paid to the audio system provided by the two TV sets. Thus, both the PG3000 and the PG200R feature LG Clear Voice technology, for a crisp and clear sound, as well as an audio system comprising what the company describes as "invisible" speakers. These speakers use the whole surface of the TV set and deliver quite a good audio experience, regardless of the viewer's position within the room.

The connectivity options provided by the two plasma displays are also quite extended, as the devices have been equipped (besides the standard video connectors) with 3 HDMI interfaces and a USB 2.0 port (for connecting various external storage devices).

Unfortunately, such elegant and advanced devices do come at a pretty hefty price tag, the PG3000 retailing for around 1,451 US dollars, while the PG200R is even more expensive, at around $1,500.
