LG announced recently their latest slim phone, KG320, in an attempt to win the race against Samsung's slimmest mobile phonein the world - SCH-V870.

LG's final product is just 9.9mm thick, weighs around 73 grams and contains 128MB internal memory, though it seems that it lacks a memory card slot.

The candybar design makes KG320 the first handset which doesn't compromise on ergonomics in order to achieve a slimmer form factor.

The new KG320 features an 170 x 220 pixel LCD screen, capable of supporting 262,144 colors, 2.2 megapixel camera (upgraded from a previous 1.3 megapixel), Bluetooth and USB 1.1 connectivity, and music player with support for MPEG4, MP3 and AAC files.

In addition, the phone offers tri-band (900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM/GPRS compatibility.

Rumors claim that the handset will be heading to Europe besides Korea, but there is no word about its availability in America or its price.
