LG CU575 Trax will be available from now on at AT&T. It seemed like the device was never to finally hit stores, as it looks like it had some bugs that needed to be taken care of. That is all left behind, as the phone is ready for a US release at one of the largest carriers.

LG Trax is mainly a music phone and holds many features meant to reveal the importance of this capability. AT&T will also score some important points at this level, as it will provide special services for allowing the phone owner to enjoy the phone's capabilities at top levels. S/he will be able to choose Napster, or eMusic, in addition to Music ID song-recognition software, music videos and The Buzz music news portal.

One special performance is that related to managing music files. The Trax by LG also enables users to create and manage custom playlists, just as they would on their PC or music player.

Aside from the evolved music rendering performances, the handset is also capable of handling a large number of media files. "With top-notch video and data capabilities, in addition to a sleek design, this device will hit the right note with many of our customers", said Carlton Hill, vice president of Product Management for AT&T's wireless unit.

LG CU575 Trax is also MobiTV and XM Radio Mobile-capable, so users can enjoy streaming live TV and digital radio all in one device. The phone will also support AT&T's Video Share service, the first service in the U.S. that enables users to share live video over their wireless phones while on a voice call.

LG Trax also comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera. That will not get anyone excited over its performances, but will prove to be just the thing for capturing personal memories and then editing them right from the phone.

LG Trax will be available from now on in AT&T retail stores, starting the 14th of August. Buyers will have to pay USD 130 after a mail-in rebate and a two-year service agreement.
