Korean handset manufacturer LG has just announced the launch of its LG Town C300, a full QWERTY bar mobile phone. The device can be tagged as a mid-budget phone as its cost does not top the 100 Euro barrier

The feature-phone comes in two colors, aimed at those on the go with busy lifestyles, Black and White.

Besides the full QWERTY keyboard, which makes it more appealing for those that are using their handsets for sending text messages very often, LG Town comes with a 2.4-inch TFT display (320 x 240 pixels resolution), microSD card slot for memory expansion and 3.5 mm audio jack.

The phone has a modern look, especially to its sleek curved sides. It weighs only 92.5g (including battery and has 11.9 thickness, which makes it one of the slimmest handsets to feature a full QWERTY keyboard.

The phone comes with push email and onboard SNS, so it makes it possible for those that are using it to stay in touch with their families and friends 24/7, thanks to the dedicated Facebook, Twitter and MSN clients.

The deep integration of Social Networking System (SNS) widgets provide real-time status updates directly to the home screen, so users are constantly up-to-date.

Paul Trueman, Marketing Director LG Electronics UK and Ireland says “We wanted to make social networking quick and easy for busy people on the go, and the LG C300 Town with integrated SNS widgets and a full QWERTY keyboard does just that.”

LG Town C300 sports a 2.0-megapixel camera for those that are not looking for extreme quality when they're taking pictures. Mixed with the SNS services, users will be able to upload photos quickly onto Facebook and Twitter.

Other features of the phone include Wireless FM radio and MP3 player. As a side note, LG Town C300 is one of the latest additions to the LG Town family.

The LG Town C300 should be available at Orange, Phones4U and Tesco in the near future.
