Recently launched by AT&T, LG Thrill 4G Android smartphone has just received a price discount that will make it even more appealing for Android fans.

Amazon Wireless retails the LG Thrill 4G for only $29.99 with new two-year agreements and instant discount.

On related news, Amazon also offers the HTC Inspire 4G for the same price upon signing a new two-year plan.

It is also worth mentioning that both deals are available for new customers, as well as for existing customers who wish to upgrade their phones.

However, it appears that the LG Thrill 4G is the better choice in this case, as the Inspire 4G is a less featured device.

Although their displays have the same size, Thrill 4G's 4.3-inch screens is 3D LCD and offers users the advantages of the 3D technology, whereas the Inspire 4G features a S-LCD capacitive touchscreen.

Furthermore, LG Thrill 4G comes with a 1Ghz TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor, while the HTC Inspire 4G is equipped with a single core 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU.

There's one point where HTC's Inspire 4G seems to be the winner, as the phone packs 768 MB of RAM, in comparison with Thrill 4G's 512MB.

Both smartphones offer users the functionality and performance of Google's Android 2.2 (Froyo) mobile platform, though a Gingerbread update is expected to roll out in Q4.

In addition, HTC Inspire 4G boasts an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and HD video recording capabilities, while the LG Thrill 4G features a 5-megapixel dual cameras with autofocus, LED flash, full HD video capture that can shoot stereoscopic photos and clips.

The 4G smartphones are fully covered when it comes to connectivity options and offer users Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA function, GPS with A-GPS support, along with Google's full suite of applications, such as Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube and Google Talk.
