LG Teases New Mobile Phone for CES 2013, Might Be Optimus G2

South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to unveil new mobile devices at the upcoming 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week, and some suggest that the company might be set to announce the successor of its Optimus G handset at the event.

In a new video teaser for CES 2013, LG appears to be hinting at said smartphone at the 0:17 mark, though it’s rather hard to tell whether the product in the clip is indeed the rumored handset.

One thing that is certain, however, is the fact that LG’s announcement at CES will have something to do with mobile phones as well, given that the company is linking to LG Mobile’s Facebook page in the video’s description.

LG has set its press conference for January 7, 2013 at 8:00AM PST in Las Vegas.
