LG Spectrum 2 leaked for the first time this summer with the promise of an October release. Unfortunately, no other details on the phone's availability and price tag surfaced until now.

Although the smartphone will be exclusive to Verizon Wireless, Best Buy is the one that sheds some light on Spectrum 2 specs sheet and price. The retailer has just listed the LG Spectrum 2, though it's not available for sale yet.

However, Best Buy put a $649.99 USD (500 EUR) no term price tag on LG Spectrum 2. We expect the carrier to offer the smartphone for much less on contract, so stay tuned for more updates on this one.

LG Spectrum 2, also known as LG VS930, will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, but we expect the South Korean company to offer a Jelly Bean upgrade in the coming months.

Hardware-wise, the Spectrum 2 is pretty impressive. The smartphone is equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.

No word on the amount of RAM an storage, but it's been confirmed the Spectrum 2 will pack microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, the device fully supports Verizon's 4G LTE network and boasts a stunning 4.7-inch True HD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

On the back, the handset sports an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls.

Last but not least, LG Spectrum 2 is powered by a 2150 mAh Li-Ion battery, which should provide up to 20 hours of standby time or up to 10 hours of talk time. For more details on LG Spectrum 2 check out Best Buy's listing here.
