Two average handsets heading towards Canada

Bell Mobility Canada will add an LG Shine clamshell and Sanyo S1 to its line of handsets to meet both low end and more evolved customer demands. The two devices are completely different, which suit any type of tastes in this area.

The LG Shine clamshell screams style through its every line and is everything that a fashion-conscious person would ever dream of. Its smooth, but straight lines make it elegant, but not necessarily in the feminine way.

The phone packs a 2 megapixel camera that will manage to take pretty decent captures, which is good if the user is not after artistic photography. There is also Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD card of 64 MB, although the unit supports this type of card up to 4Gb. That is more than enough to store huge amounts of songs and personal files to use as entertainment.

Sanyo S1, on the other hand, is an entry level device for people who just need to text and call. It's nothing special, which can be seen through the classic and old fashioned design which looks even more outdated in black. The phone does not even have a camera, although some people who can't find a use for one might find this to be an advantage, as it drops the handset's price. Bluetooth connectivity is available, although only in mono sound, so that the user does not get spoiled with too evolved features.

Both mobile phones will be available in the near future on Canadian grounds. The clamshell version of LG Shine will come for USD 130 with a contract of 3 years or USD 380 without a contract. Sanyo S1, on the other hand, will be available at the price of USD 20 with a 3 year contract or USD 150 without a contract for Bell Mobility.
